For Our Neighbors

Hello neighbors and friends.  We are providing this web page to offer some clarification that surrounds our farm.  We have made good faith efforts to be good harmonious neighbors during our tenure of ownership at 5780 Markham Woods Road while developing a bona fide Katahdin hair sheep lambing and grazing operation.  For purposes of better understanding each other we wanted to offer you the following for consideration.

Hosting Events - 10 Steps to Ensure we Minimize Impacts to You

Hidden Oaks Farm  is offering its facilities for rent on an extremely limited basis to host events.  We have developed a preliminary plan that requires very strict controls for the use of its facilities, which can be summarized as follows:

  1. Events will be scheduled with controlled attendance (invite only);
  2. Regular event venue offering will be limited to 15 hours per week;
  3. Hours of operation will be strictly adhered to and call for no activity after 10 p.m.
  4. Pre-qualified Disc Jockey service will limit noise to inside insulated venue;
  5. Pre-qualified Bartending service will limit intoxication (no off-site/unlicensed sale);
  6. Pre-qualified Catering service will limit waste stream;
  7. Hidden Oaks Farm will retain an off-duty Seminole County Sherriff's Deputy to assist with traffic and behavioral matters for all events;
  8. Parking will be managed in accordance with a parking plan that was developed by a licensed professional engineer;
  9. Traffic will be controlled by Hidden Oaks Farm and supplemented with support from the Seminole County Sherriff's Office (off-duty personnel)
  10. Concerns from neighbors will be promptly considered and addressed.
